How can I give access to an employee for managing a specific functionality in the system?

To give access to an employee for a specific functionality, follow these steps:
  • On the Dashboards homepage, go to the Search bar and type “roles and groups” and select the option - Create and assign groups. Alternatively, you can also go to Product configurations >> General settings >> Setup employee groups
  • On the Setup employee groups page, click Add new group.

  • Specify a unique Group name and select an option to select roles. Once you set the role, it can’t be changed. Hence, associate the role carefully.
  • Apply Search criteria by selecting the suitable options for all the fields.
  • Specify employee names to Assign group to one or more employees and give access rights. You can select an option to give Full access or Read only access.
  • Provide access for specific modules to the employees assigned the groups in the Assign module. Then select the checkbox corresponding to the module(s) whose access you want to grant.

  • Click Confirm to save the changes.
