Employee has submitted appraisal to the manager. How to send it back to the employee?

I need to send the appraisal to the employees for corrections before it goes to the HR Manager. How to do it?

When an employee completes self evaluation and submits the appraisal to the manager, either manager or HR can send it back to the employee.

1. The Manager can directly send it back to the employee.

• Open appraisal for the specific employee and go to the Submit form.
  
• Click on Send back to employee. The employee will be notified about the same.
  

2. The HR manager can change the appraisal state to send it back to the employee. Follow the steps:

• On the homepage dashboards, go to Appraisals widget and click View all appraisals link.
  
• Select the checkbox corresponding to the employee name whose appraisal you want to send back.
  
• Click Manage appraisal state.
  

• Select Initiated in the Select new state dropdown.
  
• Click Proceed.
  

 

Once it is done, the appraisal status will change to Initiated and the employee will be notified.
