Reset or regenerate password for an employee.

Does application provide option to reset or regenerate password for an employee? If yes, for which role this feature is available?

Yes. HR manager role with permission to the 'HRIS' module will have access to this feature.

Under the HR manager login, in the home page search box, type the text as 'reset password' and select the option 'Communicate with employees, share or reset passwords, set password policy', user will be redirected to the respective page.

From the shortcut menu, click on 'Share password' link, the system will prompt you to select the employees and add to the right side box. With the help of 'Advance search' feature, user can select multiple employees in a single click.

For password generation, there are two options with radio button. These are...

1. Regenerate a new password as per password policy
2. Send the existing password

After selection of a radio button, the system will regenerate password or send the existing password to the selected employees over the mail.
