Is it possible to exempt an employee from professional tax deduction, even if they are working in a state where PT is applicable?

It is not the right approach to avoid deducting professional tax if it is applicable. Empxtrack does not recommend a false practice.

However, if you don’t want to deduct PT for any genuine reason (for instance, an employee relocating to a different state), then go to the employee profile and specify a state where PT is not applicable. Then process their salary.
