I processed payroll for a few months while exploring the product. My employees are now not able to regularize their attendance or apply for leave. What is possibly wrong?
The system doesn’t allow employees to regularize attendance or apply for leave for a given pay period if the payroll processing has already started or completed for that pay period.
It is quite possible that you have processed payroll for upcoming months while exploring the product. Go to the payroll dashboard and delete future payroll if you have done that.
Follow the path:
1. In the Search bar, type Payroll and select the option - Process payroll and view reports.
2. Click on the upcoming pay period (if you have processed payroll for future months).
3. Click In process tab >> Not shared with employees tab.
4. Select employees and click Erase.
5. Now go to In process >> Salary not calculated tab and click Erase processed data.
Once you clear future payroll, your employees would be able to regularize attendance and apply for leave for that pay period.
